Why is Reddit awesome?
The above image is of Omari. He was attacked after trying to ward off attackers from an orphanage. After surgery, he returned to the orphanage. The children were too scared to go back. Someone that works with Omari and Omari’s mother (the only two people that are in charge of a 35 kid orphanage) posted to reddit asking if anyone would be willing to donate to reach a $2k goal to build a better fence/wall around the orphanage to keep out attackers and to keep the children safe. In 3 hours, $11k was raised from reddit.
